Who we are

Yusu is a free tool built for foreign freelancers in Korea. It helps manage invoices, estimate taxes, review contracts, and find accountants. Contact: info@yusu.space

What data we collect and why

Account data

Name, email address, and optionally: phone number, tax ID, business registration number, and address. Used to generate invoices and identify your account. Legal basis: contract (providing the service you signed up for).

Invoice and client data

Client names, emails, addresses, and invoice contents you enter. Stored to provide the invoicing feature. Legal basis: contract.

Contract files

PDF files you upload for AI contract analysis. Stored on Cloudflare R2 (EU region) and sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis. Files are associated with your account and can be deleted by you at any time. Legal basis: consent.

Usage analytics

Page paths, a hashed (SHA-256) and truncated IP address, user agent string, and referrer. Processed via PostHog (EU region). Used to understand which features are used. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Where data is stored

Account, invoice, and analytics data are stored in a PostgreSQL database on a server in the European Union. Contract PDFs are stored on Cloudflare R2 in the EU region. AI analysis is processed by Google (Gemini API, US) under their data processing agreement.

How long we keep data

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, request a copy of your data (portability), and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at: info@yusu.space

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will notify users by email. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
